Volunteer

The University of Louisville Lions Eye Bank is always looking for volunteers.  An individual does not need previous experience to become a volunteer.  Training will be provided by the eye bank and can usually be accomplished within a couple of hours.  Training is conducted at our facility in downtown Louisville.

Our volunteers work hand-in-hand with the staff of the eye bank.  Some of the activities our volunteers are involved with include, handing out information about eye donation at health fairs, offering free vision screenings, speaking to civic organizations, and assembling giveaways at the eye bank.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact our office at  502-852-5457.  Your time would be much appreciated.
